Founded in 1998 by Joop van den Ende, Stage Entertainment is one of the world’s largest theatrical producers with bases in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Russia, Italy and the USA, and the owner of 30 venues across those countries. Headed by Rebecca Quigley, Stage Entertainment’s London team currently produce the annual national arena tour of Strictly Come Dancing Live! and the UK tour of the critically acclaimed Singin’ in the Rain. The company’s previous UK credits include: I Can’t Sing! at the London Palladium (a co-production with Syco Entertainment) the multi-award-winning Hairspray (Shaftesbury and UK tour), the UK and Ireland tour of Oliver! in partnership with Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, Sister Act (London Palladium and UK tour), Strictly Come Dancing Live! (UK arena tours), Disney’s High School Musical 1 & 2 (Hammersmith Apollo and UK tours), The Full Monty (Prince of Wales and UK tour), Contact (Queen’s), Blue Man Group (New London) and Tommy (Shaftesbury). Future projects include the brand new West End musical Made in Dagenham, based on the hit British film. Stage Entertainment works across Europe with international partners to present the world’s biggest musical theatre titles, including The Lion King, Tarzan, Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Cats and Dirty Dancing, as well as developing and producing its own musicals, including Rocky, Sister Act, Hij Gelooft in Mij and Ich War Noch Niemals in New York.
